PERFORATING, REMOVING, TUNING, ELIMINATING, EMPTYING THE PARTICULATE FILTER POISONS THE AIR AND EXPOSES EVERYONE TO THE RISK OF CANCER.
The most important science labs for the control of polluting emissions showed how an particulate filter can block 99.7% of fine dusts coming from a diesel engine between PM100 and PM1. During the regeneration phase, all dusts are transformed into Co2.
The residual 0.3% that ends up in the air is so diluted to be imperceptible and with no consequences on human population. Eliminating the filter has the effect of releasing carbonic dusts containing highly toxic compounds, such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons which (and that was scientifically proven) can cause cancer.
THE TYPICAL DURATION OF A FAP IS 80,000 Km, THEN IT HAS TO BE REPLACED
Oil, air, and pollen filters are replaced after 10,000 Km.
Tyres are replaced between 40,000-60,000 Km.
Brakes are replaced after 30,000-50,000 Km.
The particulate filter will not last forever.
Yet, many operators still think it’s eternal, that it’s useless, and it should be removed, perforated, eliminated.
The efficiency of a FAP will determine the quality of the emissions of a car and, in turn, of the air we breathe. More and more frequently, we see the exhaust pipes of the cars in front of us give out an acrid, unbreathable, highly toxic gas.
Those are cars where the FAP or the catalytic converter was removed.
Think: the average lifespan of a car is 200,000 Km
To make sure the cat-fap works efficiently you will only have to change it once (after 100,000 Km), spending just a few hundred Euros.
Do not contribute to make the air unbreathable.
DO NOT ELIMINATE THE FAP.
